What happens next

Three steps, and no surprises in between

1. You send the form

We read it properly. If anything is unclear, or we think you might be asking for the wrong thing, we will say so rather than quietly estimating what you asked for.

2. We survey and estimate

For most commercial work we need to see the installation before pricing it. We agree the scope with you and put the estimate in writing, in a form you can take to whoever authorises the spend.

3. We book it around you

Dates that suit your operation: outside trading hours, in the school holidays, phased floor by floor, or whenever your building can actually give us the room.

What to include in your enquiry

• The premises type, such as school, office, shop or restaurant
• What needs doing, even roughly, in your own words
• Site location or postcode, where the work is rather than your head office
• Access constraints, such as trading hours, term dates, occupied floors or shutdown periods
• Any deadline, such as an opening date, a lease date or an inspection
• Existing paperwork, such as a previous EICR, a fire risk assessment, drawings or an equipment schedule
