Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Commercial Electricians Surrey and to the website athttps://commercialelectriciansurrey.co.uk. It covers the information you choose to send us through the enquiry form.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into the enquiry form. That is:
- Your name
- Your company or organisation, if you give one
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give one
- The site postcode or location of the work, if you give one
- The premises type and service you select
- Whatever you write in the project details box
There are no marketing cookies, analytics trackers or advertising pixels on this website. We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across other sites.
How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry, to price and plan the work, and to carry it out if you go ahead. That is all. We do not use it for anything else and we do not add you to a mailing list without you asking.
The lawful basis for handling your information is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send us, and - where you go ahead with work - performance of a contract with you.
Who else sees it
The enquiry form is processed by Web3Forms, a form submission service that receives your message and forwards it to us by email. Your information passes through their systems in order to reach us. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.
Fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to load them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries we do not take forward are kept only as long as they remain useful for following up, and are then deleted. Where we carry out work for you, we keep the records associated with that job, including certification and reports, for as long as we need to for our business, insurance and legal obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to object to how we are using it. Contact us through the enquiry form and we will deal with it.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, so what you send through the form is encrypted in transit. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send us anything highly sensitive through a web form.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page. Any change applies from the date it is published here.
